No wonder then that FX's recent announcement for a Far Cry anthology series pulled in two visionaries whose work have represented all of those elements.

What to Expect

Adapted from Ubisoft's hit video game franchise, the short-run anthology series is set to premiere on Hulu and is being made by FX Productions. The series will also mirror the video games' style by introducing a new backdrop and group of personalities in each season.

Key Producers

Rob Mac, producer of It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, and Noah Hawley, the visionary behind FX's Alien: Earth and Fargo, will serve as executive producers on the series via their production banners, More Better Productions for Mac, and 26 Keys for Hawley. They will be joined by Emilia Serrano for 26 Keys, Nick Frenkel for 3 Arts, Jackie Cohn for More Better Productions, John Campisi, Gerard Guillemot, Margaret Boykin, and Austin Dill for Ubisoft Film & Television.

Cast and Future Plans

Mac will also star in the show, but currently, we are unsure of what character that may be. Hawley's Alien: Earth was just greenlit for more episodes, with FX and Disney agreeing to a new overall deal with the producer.
