Passionate fans of the actress are urging that a individual who breached a barrier and seized the celebrity during yesterday's Wicked: For Good premiere be taken into custody or removed from Singapore.

A viral clip reveals the individual from Australia bypassing media personnel and rushing toward Grande while the cast made its way down a promenade accompanied by supporters.

Cast member Cynthia Erivo promptly wrested the surprised performer away from Mr Wen, who was spotted being escorted out of the gathering by security officers.

Mr Wen shared on Instagram Thursday evening that he was "let go after being detained", though legal records indicated that he was scheduled to be present on the following morning. It is not clear if he was faced legal action.

History of Event Invasions

This is not the first time for Mr Wen, who describes himself as a "Notorious Troublemaker", has invaded a celebrity gathering. His Instagram profile features clips of him disrupting other star-studded functions, including jumping on stage at Katy Perry's Sydney performance in recently and in a like fashion during The Chainsmokers event in the city last year.

"Measures must be taken enforced against him as this is obviously a criminal offence," commented an Instagram commenter, in a message to a video Mr Wen shared of his behavior.

"Oh wow so you do this a lot... how aren't you in jail?" a different Instagram user questioned.

Fans Express Concern Over Ariana's Well-being

Numerous supporters blamed Mr Wen for "causing further distress" Grande, who had spoken of experiencing trauma-related anxiety after a suicide bomb attack at the finale of her May 2017 performance in Manchester, claiming the lives of 22 people and harming many.

"After everything she's faced... including the Manchester attack, you considered it entertaining to rush the barrier?" wrote one more response on Instagram.

A number of fans also questioned guards at the gathering for not being sufficiently alert; while different individuals requested digital services to remove Mr Wen's videos.

Aftermath and Event Details

In footage spreading on the internet, Grande appeared shocked when she was touched by the intruder. Her fellow actors Michelle Yeoh and Erivo can be observed consoling her while Mr Wen was escorted away by guards.

Grande has not issued a statement on the event, and the remaining proceedings proceeded as normal.
